Our Story
Pioneering heterocyclic chemistry since 1990
Dr. Jagath Reddy's Heterocyclics was founded in 1990 with a singular focus: designing and synthesizing novel heterocyclic building blocks that accelerate drug discovery. Over three decades later, that focus has grown into a catalog of more than 5,000 compounds trusted by pharmaceutical and agrochemical researchers worldwide.
Our research laboratory in Hyderabad, India, is staffed by experienced chemists and supported by a senior advisory panel. From custom synthesis to contract research, we deliver compounds from gram to kilogram scale with rigorous quality control. We routinely operate under confidentiality agreements with multinational corporations.
In 2003 we established Heterocyclics Inc., our U.S. subsidiary, to better serve North American clients with faster response times and local support.

The vision behind the company
Dr. G. Jagath Reddy
Dr. G. Jagath Reddy is an organic chemist and visiting research fellow at Princeton University, where he worked under the guidance of Prof. E.C. Taylor. He has published extensively in leading scientific journals and has over 5,000 chemicals to his credit in the international market at kilo lab scale.
Dr. Reddy continues to lead the company's research direction, personally driving the design of new molecular scaffolds and mentoring the next generation of synthetic chemists at Heterocyclics.
